Macleay Valley Rangers look to improve defence in round one of the Coastal Premier League | The Macleay Argus

In last year’s Coastal Premier League regular season, Macleay Valley Rangers conceded 13 goals. Compare that to the top three teams, Coffs City United (4), Boambee (10) and Port Saints (8). It was a similar affair in the CPL Southern Conference. Despite finishing first the Rangers conceded 10 goals in six games while Port United had five put on them and Port Saints saw six sail into the back of their net. In the CPL Southern grand final, Rangers were on the wrong end of 3-2 scoreline.
