Success for Kempsey High School at Sydney Royal Easter Show | The Macleay Argus

Kempsey High School has come away from the Sydney Royal Easter Show with some impressive results. The team took out the Reserve Champion steer in the Sydney Royal Woolworths trade competition with Teddy, a Charolias/Angus cross Limousin. The steer was bred by Gavin and Emily Saul, with the students preparing him for the show over the past 150 days. “Both of the steers we took to the show were prepared by the students and chosen by them, so it was good from an educational point to see how they went,” Agriculture teacher Gavin Saul said.
